Microblading Explained
What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique to reconstruct, define or fill-in over plucked or non-existent eyebrows. Microblading is manually performed with a hand-held tool by a trained specialist. The tool and color pigment are used to etch hair-like strokes just under the skin's surface.

How long does is last?
Microblading effects are termed semi-permanent and last up to 2 years. Sun exposure and skin type can alter the longevity. Clients typically have an initial treatment followed by a retouch 4-6 weeks later. Some clients will choose a retouch annually.

Does microblading hurt?
At SAS Med Spa a medical grade topical anesthetic is used for the microblading procedure. The brow area can be sore for a few hours afterwards and may be tender to touch for a couple of days.
